DI Bernie is put on a case for a missing child, Molly, who was taken from a park after school while her mom changed her brother's diaper. While investigating and trying to find her, Bernie uncovers secrets in the two adjoining villages. She also uncovers a couple secrets about the new DS Anderson. Working together, they find lots of useful information. Now, will they find Molly and her abductor(s)? And will the other case of the missing Sophie taken in 1990 be associated with Molly being missing?
Although it took me a little while to read this, I truly enjoyed every page. This book takes you for an adventure as Bernie tracks down all the leads, false and true. I love that she uncovers more than she expected. It was a true joy to read this. I definitely give this ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. It's totally worth checking out. Happy reading!
