Deception Point
by Dan Brown
A real page turner, but in need of serious editing. At 736 pages, this book is at least a third longer than it needed to be to tell the story effectively. And at least one major plot turn (when the villain suddenly switches from who we've been lead to believe to someone else) is completely contrived. That is, it's not fair to the reader when everything in the story points to one person as the villain, and without warning we learn that it's been someone else all along.
