In this installment, I loved Helene's storyline the most. Her character developed so much in comparison to the first book. Besides that, it just was the most interesting and suspenseful.
Elias' storyline, however, I didn't like at all. I just couldn't find myself being invested in it. The whole book I was waiting for them to figure out a way for Elias to not be the Soul Catcher. They didn't but I really freaking hope that they will in the next book. I'm not mentally prepared for anything else.
Therefore, I nocked 0.25 points off my rating.
Other than that, I again was a huge fan of Tahir's writing style and I loved that she took the conflict that's been building up a notch further. I can't wait to see how everything will be resolved in the next - and last - book.
