A great thriller!
These suspense/thrillers are hit or miss for me. This was a HIT!
This book has a 'Sleeping with the Enemy' vibe right from the start. The more I read, the more confused I became. Things weren't adding up. What was going on? Sometimes that can be frustrating, but not here. The way this book is written it made me want to keep reading to figure everything out.
I listened to the audio book- which has 3 narrators. Beth was narrated by Vivienne Leheny, who does a fantastic job. Jeffrey is narrated by Chris Andrew Ciulla, who I don't really care for, but he did the part well. And, Marcus is narrated by Pete Simonelli (aka Sebastian York) who I love. (Side note: I had no idea Sebastian York had another narrator name.) I highly recommend the audio and felt that it actually contributed to the story.
Overall, this thriller was a winner for me- and I am glad that it lived up to the hype it got this summer.
