I do not like or dislike this book. I read it easily enough and never felt the inclination to stop.
Like The Picture Of Dorian Gray, I do not understand the hype- if anything I understand Dorian Gray more so.
As someone who is not religious, I found it hard to relate to a self-discovery book entrenched in religion.
In my opinion, it feels like a glorified children's tale. There is nothing wrong with that, and think it could make a lasting impression if read to a child but not to me.
I would not dissuade someone from reading it but would never recommend it myself.
