I found a couples scene predictable, but the overall story unfolds organically and still keeps you on your toes even after one of the main characters from the other books isn’t present anymore. The author keeps the story alive and interesting. As usual for me since book 1, the last scene gave me chills and I can’t wait to start the next book!
