Pretty Monster
by Sheridan Anne
Twenty three year old Kyah lives in Brooklyn and is becoming well known as a tattoo artist, being taught and mentored by Big Jim. Kyah has found her stride in life, doing what she loves and having a dependable circle of people around her. Best friend Nat, co-worker and occasional friend with benefits Crew, customer and VP of the local MC Viper. Both of these men has staked a claim on Kyah wanting her for their own. She doesn’t want to settle down, she wants to stay free. When she gets a new neighbor Alex, that confidence in her independence becomes a little shaky. Not to mention the stalker that welcomes himself into her apartment each night. Leaving her little notes, leaving the window open, scaring her til she thinks she’s losing her mind. What Kyah isn’t ready to admit is, out of the men in her life, the one that is giving her what she wants most is the one she can’t see, the one that scares her, the one she can’t wait to feel again.
Talk about an obsessive, possessive, touch her and die! The way this book started I thought it was going to just be about a serial killer. The way it ended made me want so much more. I gave this a 5 star because when I wasn’t reading it I was thinking about when I could. I don’t want to give too much away, but I will say I’m not sure if I could make the same choice Kyah did but this book definitely made me want to.
