The Twisted Sisters really had fun writing this one, and you can certainly tell! This book had me laughing constantly.
The FMC Brooklyn is a bit "unhinged." She has a lot of trauma which is probably why she is the way she is, but not only that -- she somewhat almost goes through it again.. but is sold by those people who were going to harm her and bought by someone who didn't want her for the reason that most would. Her Irish captor, Niall bought her in hopes that she would help him "kill" people which is one of her favorite things to do since she had to fight off those who caused her trauma many years ago.
There are two MMCs in this story and Niall is holding Mateo captive in his own basement because he wants him to answer questions about where he hid a ton of money and Mateo refuses. Brooklyn and Mateo become fast friends since they are both being held captive in Niall's basement.
Climb aboard the crazy train and check this one out if you want a fun, comical read that also has pretty good plot.
