i cannot believe i found the impossible................................. a wlw romance that didn't make me want to pluck my eyes out. i had almost given up hope. cringed handing the cashier my card for this knowing how badly my other ventures have gone. i could kiss mazey eddings for making me feel hopeful abt the concept of me enjoying the romance genre again.
has the normal genre pitfalls whose mileage will definitely vary by person (stupidly convenient plot motivators, inability to identify or use the word lesbian for the characters, etc) but the relationship build up and flirting felt very genuine and was just literally a delight to read. pepper, the love interest, is also autistic and was maybe one of the only - if not THE only - example of an autistic woman who i felt like represented me. also, the sex was good!! i'll say it!!!
