“Permanent may be the scars that we bear, but there is a love that makes all things new.”
This 5 star totally snuck up on me. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it at first, but as the story kept building I got so wrapped up in all of these characters & their lives. Of course we have Ella & Charlie as the MCs, but the side characters were also well done & fleshed out.
The atmosphere completely sucked me in & the story just makes my heart feel full. I was just so happy reading parts of this. The love story was beautiful & etched itself into my heart. One of my all time favorite couples!
I wish I could more eloquently describe my feelings towards it & why it worked so well for me. The writing was simple but great & so effective. If you like circus books & Christian fiction I would absolutely recommend it.
(check the trigger warnings though)
