This was a fun read, nice little fantasy. It has a ton of similarities to ACOTAR that I rolled my eyes at. It was still enjoyable though! I think with more thought & time this could’ve been something really great. I felt that the plot was often rushed, the foreshadowing too in your face, and solutions too easy. Especially towards the end, that was a LOT to happen in such a small amount of pages. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it and will be getting book 2 this weekend. It’s not anything to write home about, though. I’ll likely forget most of the plot within the year.
