I really liked this! I've had it for a while and decided to read it because I figured it'd be a quick read while waiting for my book club book to come in the mail. It centers around six teens who discover their parents are super villains and how they deal with it. The kids response was to be expected; they freaked out, attempted to call the cops and when it became apparent that the local law enforcement was on the take they decided to run away. I did think some of their powers manifested a little too quickly especially with Karolina who wrangled her powers really quickly when defending herself against her parents but overall it was a fun read.
I pretty much liked all the main characters aside from Chase because he was just the stereotypical idiot male teen but it didn't take away from my enjoyment too much and I think eventually I'd like to read the rest of the series
