Be More Chill: The Graphic Novel by Ned Vizzini, David Levithan

I have been a huge fan of Be More Chill: The Musical since December 2017. It is absolutely one of my all time favorite things and some of the characters in it are all time faves.
I did read the original book that same December, just before I listened to the musical cast recording for the first time and, despite it sitting at a 3 of 5 on my Goodreads, I think I really forgot how unwelcoming and different the original story was in comparison to its (superior) musical counter until just now, in reading the graphic novel.
The reason this is a 2 of 5 when the original was a 3 of 5 is that this was just basically the same damn thing all over again but with bad art and less humor this time. Story wise, everything I said in my 2017 review still stands.
