The Frog Prince by Jane Porter

4.0

This was a good story of a woman fighting her preconceived notions of love as gleaned from the world of fairy tales. I really like the way it challenges the whole princess/prince charming notion and how it has affected the main character's view of love and romance.

The book is filled with internal monologues which are interesting to read. I do think perhaps the ratio of monologues to action might have been a bit more balanced . I enjoyed reading this but I imagine some might find these to be overmuch at times.

Also I found quite a few errors in the text and it would be good to have it corrected to make the reading a bit easier. These were constant but enough that it left an impression while reading.

All in all, quite a good read. I plan to check out other books by the writer.
