I gave this book 2.5 stars rounded up to 3. I like most of Sophie Kinsella's standalone books and generally prefer them to the Shopaholic series. I've always found Becky Bloomwood/Brandon to be a rather frustrating protagonist despite her charm. That was especially true in this book. She managed to delude herself into thinking she was a huge star (actually she just got a little attention for witnessing a celeb behaving badly) and acted terribly toward her family and friends. While she did have an epiphany at the end, it was too little, too late for me. No one is perfect obviously but I would have liked to see much more development of her character. Even though the book ended on a cliffhanger, I can't say that I want to see where the story goes.
