A Heartbreakingly Beautiful Fobridden/Taboo Story
The way I loved and devoured this book! LIVE NOW
How do I put the right words to describe this book? Beautiful, heartbreaking, heartbreakingly beautiful - that’s it.
I was angry, fell in love, sobbed like a baby & loved once more ….
How do I write about this book that doesn’t give much away….. We have Lexi - whose life has been hard, having to grow up at such a young age, caring for her brother, doing everything a mom should do. And then Callan, who was in her life when she was 7 and vowed to take care of her and her brother no matter what. One night that all changes when her mother takes them without notice and then don’t see each other until 10 years later until she moves back … and what happens after that is well beautiful ! It’s forbidden, maybe taboo to some and yet it’s delicious. Who better to understand Lexi and her life than the man who had a similar upbringing …. Their connection is deep and real, I found myself falling in love with them as they fall in love with each other.
This book has things that I love … taboo/forbidden aspects, age gap, heartbreaking moments, delicious spice, k!nks that oh my were new to me and oh my I’m here for it !
