I must admit I can't say whether I was a fan of historical romance because I had never read one. But, now I have formed an opinion.

The smooth and eloquent writing, the extremely sophisticated character profile, and the entertaining and engaging plotline. These three define the book in its entirety.
It is a no secret that I love to indulge in the detailed storyline (mind you, before this, I never knew any Portugal-England history), and this one played to my satisfaction with the ease of the butter.

giovannasiniscalchi knows her writing and identifies her style well. Thanks to her, I will identify myself with more of historical romance and I look forward to anything coming from her in the future.

What I did not like?
As I said, Portugal-England history is something I was unaware of, so it took me about thirty pages to warm up, but the same happened with 1984 and LOTR series and look where we are now.

My Verdict:
HIGHLY recommended if you love historical romance. If this genre is stranger to you, become friends with it with this one.
