The Long Winter by Laura Ingalls Wilder

4.0

Of course this is a 3rd or 4th read. Love to read this in the Summer to feel cooler. What I find interesting is that there was a bad winter in 1942, in North Dakota. I wonder if that area has cycles of really bad winters.

11/23/2020: I read this again for a seasonal challenge (nothing can say winter like this book). Even though I have read this multiple times, certain things stand out, that I didn't remember from the first 5 or 6 times reading the book.

One other thing. I have started reading [b:Prairie Fires: The American Dreams of Laura Ingalls Wilder|33911349|Prairie Fires The American Dreams of Laura Ingalls Wilder|Caroline Fraser|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1499741011l/33911349._SY75_.jpg|54876814], which I think will be interesting.
