DNF at 30%, skimmed a bit. Honestly this isn’t for me. Not a bad read necessarily but it felt too young. I couldn’t get into the problems the characters had and I didn’t like Kat. She was way too much, she seemed obsessed with Stevie, who didn’t seem into their friendship and fell flat. Also, why bring in another point of view a quarter of the way in? I didn’t find the story interesting and it spent too long on certain parts like the dog. I sat on this book for so long just leaving it over and over again. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the free preview in exchange for an honest review.
