I was really looking forward to reading this because of all the hype around it, but it really let me down. I did not feel any chemistry or connection between the characters, the story & the characters were quite forgettable🤷🏻♀️
The MMC was so irritable and outright mean I felt like smacking him to get that meanness out of him. He took an instant disliking towards the FMC without any justification and used to find her very "irritating" without her doing anything!!! I felt like the 'hate to love' trope was forcefully incorporated in the book unnecessarily. The only thing I liked about the MMC was how caring and protective he was towards his younger brother.
Now coming to the FMC - she was an adorable and loving person but not a strong one who would stand up for herself, because it seemed like she had a major crush on the MMC & will grab anything he offers, without drawing any boundaries for her self respect. It was like he was in charge of all the gears as to where their relationship goes and she didn't have any say.
