The Direction of the Wind

Great journey for those finding themselves
I like Sophie's character. She had the strength that Nita should have had when she decided to live her own life. However this may have been due to difference in upbringing. While Nita was raised and denied of her interest as a child, Rajiv raised Sophie in a different manner. So I liked the contrast in their upbringing that may have led to them having different outlook in life.
I admit that Nita being the character she is propelled the story forward, and gave so much depth to Sophie's journey, but I can't seem to like her as a person. She is everything I wish I am not, yet I can relate to the suffocating mess in her head than any other character.
Overall, I enjoyed this book a lot. The ending feels a bit cringe to me, but otherwise, everything else was perfect.
I would recommend anyone who likes a spiritual self discovery books to pick this up.
