The Unwanted Wife by Natasha Anders

okay, i really enjoyed it. i was tearing up 51 pages in because of theresa standing up for her self, but tbh v well could've been me pmsing. i love that there was always chemistry between them, but he didn't give into it, that's the reason for it. not because he knew her and didn't like her or grew to love her, he didn't know her and when he finally did, he knew he didn't stand a chance. he kept apologizing but also told her he knew his wrongs and FIXED them. he knew how he was treating her was wrong and even told her why he was doing it and that he was well aware of his actions. he understood why she wouldn't trust him or why she was hesitant and gave everything and when he ran out of ways to see that she could trust him, he asked what more he could do. given it was kinda rhetorical and made to point out how much he's done but honestly, if she would've given an actual answer he no doubt would've done it. there were a bunch of time skips that i wish could've seen but i get that it prob would've been v repetitive
