I am in love with this cover! As soon as I got it I was so excited to read it. The synopsis along with the cover give you high expectations. Sadly, the book didn’t live up to them. I want to first say, if you find the synopsis interesting then please give this book a try! Just because I didn’t love it doesn’t mean you won’t. I think my main issue with this story was the writing. I don’t know if it’s the style or just the way it was written but I couldn’t get past it which led me to DNF. There was no flow and the pacing was all over the place. Some things were super interesting and others left me super bored. I also didn’t care for the characters and the decisions they were making. Ultimately, this one wasn’t for me but I do think others will enjoy it.
