Finally, Eddie's story! I've been waiting, and I was not disappointed. I still loved Eddie as much as I have in the other books in which he has shown up. He is level-headed and protective, and he has had a very hard life, which we as readers finally get told. And I really enjoyed Lyssa. I liked that she was hesitant about her power, that she was afraid of what she could become. It was realistic after what she went through as a child. My only disappointment? That this book seems to be the last one written in the series back in 2011, and I still have so many loose threads I want wrapped up. I'm a little confused about Demons; are they pure evil or not? Because in Aggie and Charlie's book it is implied that they might be he only entity that is born bad/evil, but in this book, not necessarily. What is Rictor? What happened to him? What is the Consortium up to? What's their end goal? How does Alice/Lethe's pregnancy progress? For that matter, how is she pregnant? Was it the Sidhe woman who healed her? Why the secrecy about the fact that the founders of Dirk & Steele are related to the A Priori people, and the Consortium people? Or that they are descendants of the Magi? What is going to happen to Rik—was that Krackeni woman really his mate? What's the deal with Roland? Why won't he leave the building, why does he always smell like whiskey? I could go on and on...Please continue the series, Ms. Liu!
