Aristotle and Dante Dive into the Waters of the World by Benjamin Alire Sáenz

Did not finish book. Stopped at 15%.
While beautifully written and well narrated, the book has placed a heavy focus on Aristotle's internalized homophobia, which has made this tough to read. It is especially difficult when Ari and Dante have such strong family support, and the reader is given minimal sense of barriers outside of the home and their relationship, which makes it confusing where Ari has reasonably developed his messaging from.
