The Magician's Nephew by C.S. Lewis
5.0
This book only added to the wonder and curiosity I have surrounding the world of Narnia. It expands the universe beyond the scope of Earth and Narnia. We see different worlds and get a sense of how Narnia came to be. It explains how travel between worlds is possible and opens the door for new possiblities.
The characters felt vibrant, as always. I loved Uncle Andrew's character mostly because Lewis does a very good job of making me hate him. The witch, Jadis, was my favorite. She was funny (in an unintentional way) and I loved getting a glimpse of her old world. I wonder the history behind it.
