Ache
by Marley Valentine
Marley Valentine does it again with Ache! This book will pull you in with the beauty of the characters and their friendship and then make you swoon, only to rip your heart out… but don’t worry, you’ll get stitched back together. This was a roller coaster of all the emotions!
Jordan and Gael have been best friends since childhood. And for so much of that time, Jordan has been secretly and hopelessly in love with Gael. He has always handled his unrequited love for the man because they had an unbreakable bond in their friendship. Nothing comes between them… until Gael announces his engagement… Jordan knows that this woman will never be comfortable sharing Gael with his best friend once they are married and it breaks his heart.
As a way to spend some final fun with Gael, he plans an elaborate Vegas bachelor party trip… and everything changes. The two share an absolutely non-platonic evening which implodes everything. Giddy with the knowledge that what he has always wanted may actually be possible with Gael, Jordan never expects for it all to come crashing down around them…
This was a beautiful and completely heartbreaking romance that I completely LOVED! Jordan and Gael were such fantastic men who loved so hard and had the biggest hearts. I loved the entire family aspect in this book. I love that while Jordan isn’t blood, he is undoubtedly a member of the family. And finally, I loved all the breathtaking emotion in this book. This book will make you FEEL!
