Honestly confused at what I just read. The concept of a friendship blooming between two people who are being bullied and the direction this book went in did not match up in my head. The dialogue didn’t feel realistic for their ages. The masturbating parts were so out of nowhere and unnecessary? But most of all, the message this book was trying to send was completely a mystery to me. Momose’s strange philosophical talk being a key point. The book had a bully-apologist feeling in my opinion which I don’t think was the intended message.
