I thought I was going to hate this book after reading the first few pages but Mona Awad’s quirky writing style grew on me quickly.
It starts off as a Mean Girls type school drama but slowly descends into a wild fever dream/drug trip type horror.
People interpret this book very differently but to me it explored feminine loneliness, imagination and queer desire in an amazing way.
only taking of points because some parts felt quite repetitive or muddled.
Overall I absolutely loved the vibe of this book!
