Writing is sloppy and juvenile. The world building is confusing. Hard to sympathize with characters who are so stupid, and I'm realizing why Elves are not usually the main characters in fantasy-- they are so stiff. I liked Krishani's story arc but I wish he wasn't an idiot all the time.
