This was my first audiobook ever! (And you log them as audiobooks, not print because otherwise that’s cheating!) It took me a chapter to get used to this and really get into it. This narrator is good, using different (but not cringey) voices for the young woman and old woman. A spooky and bone chilling critique on class with a haunted house of family legacy and rich neighbours that treat the help like they’re disposable. I really liked this book!
