This was just some pure nerd/jock goodness, with the nerd thinking he wasn’t cool or handsome enough for the jock and the jock thinking he wasn’t smart/ambitious enough for the nerd. Sweet and cozy! (Altho, if I'm not mistaken, isn't that a rugby ball on the cover of this American football book?)
