First half of this was a great tale of somebody learning to fit into a different but eminently desirable corporate culture. The second half was much more disappointing, requiring suspension of disbelief at a level that I just couldn't muster.
Overall it felt to me that the author couldn't decide whether to make the book a satire or a thriller so tried for both and fell short. Going one way or the other would likely have worked well but unfortunately the author tried to have his cake and eat it with inferior results.
