This is a nice short story, perfect for a quick afternoon read.
It's about Mel, a local café owner, and Tony, the owner of the local pub. Mel agrees to help Tony save the pub if he poses as her fake fiancée, to keep her mum off her back.
Mel's mum is very annoying. She is a cougar desperate to find her Mr. Right-now, even going to the lengths of flirting with her daughter's (fake) fiancée. I also feel like Mel and her mum don't actually resolve their issues.
Whilst I would love to see a story about Tony's sister, Jody, finding love, this book will probably end up just sitting on my shelf.
