The luster and innovation of this twisted World War I Europe has lost its sheen in this book for me. The world grabbed me in the first one but little has changed but for a change of scenery and a combination of the separate mechanical vs biological worlds. It was not enough to keep me entertainer and I will not be finishing the trilogy unfortunately.
