This was very good, an amazing take on a Beauty and the Beast retelling - so much so that it almost didn't feel like it. It was very original and very well written. It was just a bit slow-paced for me, and also I didn't quite understand certain plot points like how the curse didn't break when the sisters proclaimed their love... but did later after the final battle. But that could have been because I was listening to this as an audiobook, and I missed some details.
I loved the themes of sisterhood, and how Louvaen was an absolute powerhouse of a woman. I loved how pure the love - both familial and romantic-l - was in this book.
