4.5/5⭐️ Let me start this by saying how much better this book was to the first one. I never realized why I didn’t love the first but it’s just cause I don’t love Micheal and I hate miscommunication. He was so odd in this book thank god that’s over. Now onto the good stuff!
Kai was the most perfect in this book. The actual care this man had. Yes, the bare minimum but in The Devils Nights Series that’s a little hard to come by…. I just loved him and the way he treated Banks and their back story and how he always felt an attachment to her and felt safe with her.
Oh Banks… I loved her so much. She just seems like she’s been through so much and has always cared so much more about others then they care about her, so I was so happy she has someone who loves her and would do anything for her.
I was (and still am a bit) confused as to what kind of relationship Banks and Damon have, and there was just a lot of him in this book. I can get now why people are saying this seems like it’s just setting up for Damon’s book.
I’m excited to read his and Wills book, because this book made me love Will so much more, and continue with this series and see Banks again because did I mention how much I love her?…… Cause it’s a lot.
