Bomb: The Race to Build--And Steal--The World's Most Dangerous Weapon by Steve Sheinkin

This is the second book I’ve read by Sheinkin and my conclusion is that he’s great at writing historical nonfiction for young readers. He tells the story in such a gripping way. I normally breeze past the sciency parts of books like this but he explains atomic energy in such a clear way. Highly recommend to 8th grade +, or strong middle grade readers.
