this was a really convoluted story.   I am not sure I see the same excitement that the positive reviews did.   The characters seemed so flat and one-dimensional, new characters were introduced rapid fire at the very end in order to wrap up some open storylines.   The build up seemed okay but everything really fell apart at the end.   I really disliked every character, Vanessa was so naive and overly Pollyannish.   Robbie was honestly just boring and kind of stupid.  The villains were all bad- no redeeming qualities, just the equivalent of a man in a black hat twirling a mustache.  I found most of the characters to be irritating, honestly.  The title was never explained, as the accident was a wednesday.   How many people could possibly be culpable in this accident?  This one just wasn't for me.
