Welp. Looks like I’m in my βœ¨π‘ π‘π‘œπ‘Ÿπ‘‘π‘  π‘Ÿπ‘œπ‘šπ‘Žπ‘›π‘π‘’ π‘’π‘Ÿπ‘Žβœ¨ and I have zero qualms about it. Zero. Qualms.

Evan Zanders? Might be fighting for current top book boyfriend. Fake bad boy but IRL a giant freakin cinnamon roll. Stevie Shay? Easily one of my favorite FMCs to date. Confident but also fully aware of her insecurities as a plus size woman in today’s society. 10/10 pairing, highly recommend.

This book is gratuitous in both its body positivity and emphasis on the importance of therapy and mental health in general, which I feel is so needed in today’s climate. One of the best things about Zee and Vee, IMO, is their ability to call each other on their crap after years of spotting the same habits in themselves.

The family dynamics in this were great, well explored for a single book. The spice is also top notch, it was well-peppered but frequent enough that I considered it a 4/5 spice level.

Was it longer than even most fantasy epics? Yes. Would I have read more if it was longer? Also yes.
