The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain
4.0
So, we have been on a road trip along the Mississippi River and staying/seeing things that have to do with Mark Twain. I read Tom Sawyer in grade school and loved it. However, my British husband didn’t have this as required reading. So, he saw that this was narrated by Nick Offerman aka the man, the myth, the legend Ron Swanson and he wanted this for our next Roadtrip read. I was excited to read it again as an adult.
It’s a classic for a reason. I loved Adventures of Huckleberry Finn better, but Tom Sawyer still good. Still holds after all this time. Still makes me laugh and cringe. And Nick was wonderful as the narration. He was made for this story.
