Reminded me a little of Glennon Doyle's Untamed, in that part of the author's journey was overcoming addiction, and deriving many insights from that process.  Like Doyle, the author also continues to strive for a more and more true version of herself through hard work and experimentation and living a life that may be outside ordinary expectations.
