The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde

5.0

A truly amazing book!! It was a little tedious at times - Oscar Wilde has a fondness for long, philosophical speeches and intense decription - but it was nonetheless enjoyable. I liked the philosophy behind it, and the development of the characters, and the writing was beautiful.

Dorian Gray is a classic for good reasons, and I definitely recommend it to everyone who hasn't read it yet. What a treasure awaits you! I'm hoping to read the unedited original version sometime, as well. All in all, I really adore this book and its characters (Basil!! Dorian!! Henry!!).
