I went into Orconomics knowing that it was a satire fantasy, and for some reason I was expecting something along the lines of Pratchett's Discworld. Because of this, it took me a little while to get into the story, but when I eventually did I really enjoyed the myriad of fantasy-trope references and the stereotypical characters.
The writing is really fluent and the constant comments on the ridiculousness of everything are hilarious. I didn't expect to empathize with the people in the story, but when *redacted* happened I actually choked up. That doesn't happen often, so I have to give credit to the author for writing such a relatable story in this genre.
