I read this with the absolute worst attitude, expecting to dislike it, and boy, did I not like it. I went in knowing that it is about a physically abusive relationship and ending a cycle of abuse, but there NEED to be trigger warnings because I would have been so upset if I went in thinking it was a romance as it was apparently marketed to be.
