Alice Scott and Hayden Anderson are two journalists competing to write the memoir of an old Hollywood celebrity. Along the way, they learn a lot about each other, interview subject, and what it means to love someone.

I was so excited to read this because I am a fan of Emily Henry’s books, but this is the only one I’ve read that’s been “meh”. The general plot is pretty similar to “Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo”, albeit of course with some plot changes, and it just fell flat to me. The last quarter of the book is great though. Don’t think I can recommend this one unfortunately.
