I Hear the Sunspot: Limit, Vol. 1
by Yuki Fumino
Originally called Hidamari ga Kikoeru, I Hear the Sunspot is a manga about two university students, Taichi and Kohei. Kohei is hard of hearing, and Taichi volunters to take notes for him in class, in exchange for Kohei bringing him delicious lunches. Taichi’s infectious grin helps break down the walls that the aloof Kohei has put up over the years, and though their friendship isn’t without its rough patches, the two of them are both changed for the better thanks to each other.
If this sounds potentially slashy, it is. It’s a BL story, though not yaoi, and at least in this first volume, the most that happens in Kohei starting to realise the depth of his affection for Taichi. It’s a sweet pseudo-romance (one-sided, at least at the moment), and I’m enjoying reading it.
