Sea Glass Summer by Miranda Liasson
4.0

Sea Glass summer is the second book in the Seashell Harbor series.

A series that concentrate on three friends that have a very strong feeling about a ring they will las on to each other after they find love.

Kit Blakemore is a widow, a single mother, and a woman redoing her life by going back to school and getting her own place.

When her army husband passed away, she inherited a beautiful old house on the beach and her plan was to bring it back to life and remodel at its old beauty.

In comes her husband's best friend, who will help her with this big project. He always had a soft spot for Kit but stepped back and now it's his chance to make sure she knows how he feels.

The story unfolds easily, with many moments where I felt sad for Kit and her son, Oliver, who's a real show stealer.

With insightful interactions and delightful first butterflies of a second chance at love and a new start in life, their romance is nowhere near easy or perfect, but that's what makes it more reliable and beautiful.

There are doubts, there are moments of frustration, but as always, love wins over all the obstacles.

A perfect summer read for any romantic lovers.

Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy
