The Governess and the Orc by Finley Fenn

5.0

These devious, scheming orcs!

This is the best of all the things we love about Finley Fenn and Orc Mountain. Our FMC in this book is strong woman in her own right; educated, compassionate, and able to wade into the murky politics of the orcs she finds herself among. Even without much guidance from Rath, she's witty and cunning, helping to reconnect the brothers after such a long and painful road. Rathgar is a perfect prickly orc who has a heart as big as the best of them, but even more stubborn than the others about letting people in. Watching them chip away at their walls, and the heartbreak that comes with every new Orc Mountain couple, hit the spot for me.

10/10 for the emotional notes
10/10 for the family bonds
10/10 for the individual character arcs
