Why on earth did it take so long to get a teenage pre-rebellion fighter Princess Leia book?! This was everything I wanted in this type of book. Seeing Princess Leia as a person becoming an adult, Alderaan culture, how she learned the skills she has, how she became part of the rebellion, her adopted family, just so much. My two biggest issues were that knowing what happens to her planet (how I loved the characters) and that there isn’t more book. Why is there only one? I need more teenage Leia. The only thing is that you’ll need to know the prequel movies to get all the references and characters (I ended up googling one character.) Wonderfully written. I can see why people love Claudia Gray’s work. Already picked up more by her.
